Service Agreement

Thank you for choosing Le Chateau Pet Resort, Spa, and Boutique for your pet’s vacation! We want you to be fully informed regarding your pet’s care and expenses. Please read the following carefully. Service Agreement Reservations are required for all services. A deposit will be required to hold a suite for an overnight stay. The deposit is fully refundable if the reservation is canceled within 72 hours of the check-in time. Full payment at our current rate is required when you check your pet into the hotel. Rates are subject to change. Check out time is by noon. If picked up after noon, guests may stay and play the rest of the day. A half day daycare fee will apply. The last check in time is 30 minutes prior to closing. The last check out time is 15 minutes prior to closing. All pets must be fully vaccinated with all rounds of required vaccinations prior to any services at the resort. We require Rabies, FVRCP, and Feleuk for cats and Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella for dogs. Regular worming, heartworm preventative, and flea/tick preventative is expected. An invoice or certificate of health from your veterinarian is required as proof of vaccinations or variation to these requirements. There are inherent risks when boarding your pet including the possibility of communicable diseases. Our cleaning regime includes daily housekeeping, disinfection, and fogging. Our facility contains a high quality air purification system to help reduce air borne germs. With these precautions and vaccinations that are helpful in prevention, it is still possible for a dog to contract canine cough or other illnesses much like a child could contract cold or flu from school. Cats also have a community area in the lounge and yard and illness is possible. Pets found to host fleas and/or ticks or other parasites will be treated at parent’s the expense and may be quarantined during their stay. It is our desire that all pets go home happy and healthy. Therefore, each pet is enrolled in our Well Pet Guarantee Program for $1 per day. If your pet is found to be or become ill or injured during their stay we will obtain services for your pet from a veterinarian. An invoice for 50% of veterinary fees will be applied to your account. If your pet requires veterinarian attention during or following their stay, for an issue related to their stay, this guarantee covers up to 50% of reasonable veterinary costs. Submissions must be made within 7 days after check out. It may be necessary for us to speak with your veterinarian regarding your pet’s diagnosis to confirm it was related to the stay, or to prevent future occurrences. If requested, please allow your veterinarian to release such information so the bill can be reimbursed. Pre-existing conditions or conditions unrelated to their stay are not covered by the well pet guarantee. Extra care fees will be applied for unneutered males and unspayed females over six months old as well as pets requiring extra medical supervision, more than three medications, injections, bandaging, or any other required special care. Provide your pet’s regular food to help prevent stomach upset. If food is not provided or in the event your pet consumes all of their meals prior to check out, a new bag of food from our boutique will be added to your bill. Your pet is welcome to have bedding and special items from home to keep in his/her suite. Please label all belongings with your pet’s full name. Though we will make every effort to make sure your pet’s belongings go home with him/her, we are not responsible for any lost or damaged belongings. We request you do not bring any breakable items. Daily treat services are provided throughout the stay with parent provided treats. We have a wide assortment of healthy treats available for purchase in our boutique. We do not allow raw hides or cooked bones due to the danger of choking. If your pet shows aggression towards staff members and we are unable to provide proper care you will be notified in order to have the pet picked up. Every dog is evaluated for acceptance into group play. Play is strictly supervised at all times. Though our guardians are trained in dog behaviors and body language as well as safe off leash play, there are risks involved with group play. If your pet is not suitable for group play, exclusive playtime will be provided. A daily fee will be applied for guests requiring exclusive playtime. Our playtimes include enrichment activities for your pet’s physical, social, mental, and emotional well being. These activities may include playground equipment, toys, mazes, story time, crafts, and other activities. In-suite individual activities such as puzzles and stuffed treats are enriching quiet time activities and can be purchased per requested occurrence. Spa services, if requested, are provided near scheduled departure time. Please notify us of any change in pick up time as soon as possible. We will make an effort to complete the service, however, a change in time or date for checkout may cause the bathing not to be completed. Pets with spa appointments that are not daycare or boarding guests must be picked up as soon as service is complete. Daycare charges will be applied for pets staying at the resort longer than one hour after notification that bathing service is complete. Doggy Day at the Spa is available to allow your pet to stay and play before their bath and be picked up later in the day. All bathing prices are base rates and will vary by size of pet, condition of coat, and temperament. If your pet’s coat is extremely matted, and we cannot safely and painlessly remove the mats with brushing, we may not be able to bathe your pet. If your pet is not comfortable with our staff, the services may not be completed.
